Duke Eisenberg continues to do quite well reported Nelson who recently "sprung" Duke for an afternoon outing of lunch together.

Emergency Center:  After YEARS of work Carol reported that our Los Trancos Emergency Center is up and running with a goal of Saturday, June 15, 2002, as her "every thing in place" completion date.  Gwen Stritter, MD, and Gale Smith, RN continue their volunteer participation re: emergency medical supplies and leaving no stone unturned Carol has prepared comfort packs for our small children containing stuffed toys, color crayons, etc., and is even working on a pet emergency bag.

Site Visit to our Emergency Center:  Carol proposed Saturday, June 15, 2002, as a day to invite the community to an "Open House/View our Emergency Container Center and Supplies Training Day" at the site...Hunner's garage 1247 LT Road.  A time of 9:30 a.m. was suggested.

Additional Funds:  Carol reported that the LT Wds and Vista Verde CERPP leaders have jointly written to the SM County Board of Supervisors seeking additional funds for continued emergency preparedness needs.

Old Business:
Directories:  Gale Smith is compiling an updated computer data base from the information gathered by our District Reps in preparation of printing our 2002 directory.  Contact has been made with Vista Verde to assure that their current directory listings will be included  in our directory.  Michael Glenn has offered to print, collate and staple the directories as a service to the community.  Our goal is to have the directories completed and ready for distribution this September at the annual Woods picnic.
Phone Tree:  Linda Drey-Nightingale continues the formidable task of updating the Emergency Phone Tree.  Linda reported that with the continued assistance of each District's Reps  this major project should be completed by the LTWCA Board Meeting in June.

LTWCA Newsletter:  Linda would appreciate receiving items for the upcoming June/July addition of our newsletter.

Next Meeting:  The next meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2002.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
