WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 2013   7:00 p.m.


Attendees:  Tom Thayer, Autumn Stanley, Sonia Martinez, Steve Friedman,

Joan Owen and Julie Duncan.  Tom led the meeting.


New Business:  Joan Owen, a 40+ year member of our community, was introduced and welcomed as a member of our board. 


Public Comment:  None


Treasurers Report:  Julie gave the Treasurers Report XXXXX. 


Old Business:

Dues:  With appreciation to the majority of residents who have contributed their 2012~2013 dues Julie reported that about a third of our residents are not current.  Julie was asked to send another email to those from whom we have not heard.  The Dues due list was divided amongst the board members present.  Allowing time for receipt of the Dues due email board members will personally contact these residents.


Emergency Prepardness:  The time to update our emergency supplies draws near. Steve, our emergency prepardness coordinator, will be meeting Bill Tagg his Vista Verde counterpart at our combined emergency operations center at Pony Tracks Ranch to perform this task.  Offers of assistance were declined.  Guesstimate cost of supplies $400.00-$500.00.


Steve is investigating an automated emergency alert system.  Initiated by telephone this system solely for alerting the residents of Los Trancos Woods and Vista Verde, purports to offer mobile service and text messaging.


Woodside Fire will soon be staging a mock evacuation drill in Portola Valley with plans of hosting a similar event here at some future date. 


Combined Community Picnic:  Sonia will contact our Vista Verde neighbors to confirm dates and ways we may participate and assist at this September event.


Next meeting:  To allow ample time to assist with the above mentioned picnic Wednesday, July 10, 2013 was selected as the better date for our next board meeting which will begin at 7:00 p.m.
